Because Abundant Life Christian Learning Center is a faith-based program, the teachers will include Christian songs, stories, finger plays and lessons into their daily curriculum and interactions. No specific denomination will be designated.
The basic idea that each child is created to be a unique and
special individual will be shared as will the Christian principles of kindness,
respect, honesty, acceptance and individual value. Children will be invited to
say a prayer before meals and to participate in Christian holiday celebrations
such as Christmas and Easter.
We welcome all families and children in our program, regardless of their religious beliefs. Everyone is welcome to come; they just need to be able to be comfortable in a Christian environment. No one will be forced to pray, but no one will be discouraged if they choose to join in. We believe that these faith-based principles are a vital part of who we are at Abundant Life Christian Learning Center.
We also help each child discover his or her own special talents and expand beyond them. We introduce new concepts in ways that help children internalize knowledge, not just memorize it. Our curriculum helps children develop the critical thinking and problem-solving skills they'll need to succeed in kindergarten, school and life.
A typical day at our program will be different for each age
group, dependent upon their development, but overall will include the
